2003/09/12 - 2 1990 RTS's and a 1987 MAN

This is what I would like my bus to look like (from the outside): Danny's 1988 RTS
Talk about a roadtrip. Getting these buses consisted of: That's 6220 Miles according to Yahoo, so that doesn't include any of the extra driving around, which we did lots of. This was in a period of just under 2 weeks.
I found out I'm looking at $1,800 to put in gears to make it capable of breaking the speed limit, probably $1,000 for a decent (7 core) radiator that won't overheat, and somehow I need to get the computer reprogrammed to output 350HP instead of 280HP. I got a killer deal at a government auction so I really can't complain though, I got my RTS for less than 1/15 the price a L.A. bus dealership wants, and the buses we got are in better shape. My buddy Steve is keeping the RTS towing the dodge in the above photo. Good thing because Steve is a bit on the smart side mechanically, and no one has proclaimed me to be a genius in the last decade. "Steve, what do I do now"? I'm planning on using Blue Pearl granite tile (kinda looks like opal) as the bus is less than 400 sq, I think I can splurge on the good stuff, like under floor heating for those cold mornings. I estimate I can do all this stuff including the fridge, washer/dryer, generator, oak cabinets, motorcycle rack, etc, and have around 25K into it. Yes I plan on doing virtually everything myself, including making the cabinets. Ok, myself includes "Help Steve!"
